Hi!

My name is Didi.

Didi is a fun character.

I live my life encouraging kids to live healthy lifes. Eating healthy foods and exercising.

Visiting schools (Kinder garden and Primary schools ), telling teachers and parents about the symptoms of Diabetes.

Early detection can save a live, a precious live of a child.

Learning must be fun and some times kids learn more from someone other than the teacher and parents. Knowledge can give us some control in this situation dealing with Diabetes.

We still need a cure!!!!!!!

Dinner with new friends. Awesome people. I am blessed to meet so meny amazing people on my journey. The kids with Diabetes are strong young people with one thing in common NEVER GIVE UP! So, so mutch to learn from them!

Willie and I started our walk between Glen Harvie and Westonaria this morning....

The wind was a disaster, at some stages almost blew us over....

But we managed to reach Randfontein - didn't go any further.....

Will try again tomorrow....

It was a awesome day. The guys that walk with me to Fochville made my first day more than just a memory.. It gave me hope. With people like this I will be able to go all the way. Thank you so much!
